Line 23 Operator - C Shift

Responsibilities

• Educate and train line personnel on line specific tasks.
• Manage the breaks of line personnel, ensuring they notify operators about leaving the area.
• Ensure all visual defects are identified and addressed, such as streaks, gels, poor edge cuts, misaligned cores, damaged edges, and loose winds.
• Follow and enforce ISO procedures across the team.
• Enforce and ensure compliance with PPE usage and emergency stop checklists.
• Respond to lab data and packaging responsibilities for the finished product.
• Manage housekeeping duties, including cleaning the line and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attendance and safety records.
• Familiarity with best practice safety procedures.
• Completion of operator certification and ISO training programs.
• Ability to run various cast lines at different levels of complexity.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, kneeling, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 55 pounds, and ascending/descending ladders.
