C-Shift CNC Operator III

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot CNC controlled machine tools to perform programmed operations.
• Run multiple machines as required.
• Employ set-up reduction techniques to minimize change-over times and increase productivity.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace in accordance with 5S standards.
• Participate in Autonomous Maintenance program.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance per daily schedule.
• Perform First Piece Verification process per part print as required.
• Ensure production of high-quality parts.
• Follow Lock/Out Tag/Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Operate production parts according to specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Use appropriate measuring tools and make necessary offsets and edits.
• Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Policies and Procedures.
• Report all incidents immediately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of +5 years experience in CNC in aerospace industry.
• Able to read, write and understand English.

About the Role

This role may require training during 1st shift before the operator can start on C-shift. This will vary by experience.
