C-Shift CNC Operator III
Responsibilities
- Set-up, operate and troubleshoot CNC controlled machine tools to perform programmed operations.
- Run multiple machines as required.
- Employ set-up reduction techniques to minimize change-over times and increase productivity.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace in accordance with 5S standards.
- Participate in Autonomous Maintenance program.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance per daily schedule.
- Perform First Piece Verification process per part print as required.
- Ensure production of high-quality parts.
- Follow Lock/Out Tag/Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Operate production parts according to specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Use appropriate measuring tools and make necessary offsets and edits.
- Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Policies and Procedures.
- Report all incidents immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of +5 years experience in CNC in aerospace industry.
- Able to read, write and understand English.
About the Role
This role may require training during 1st shift before the operator can start on C-shift. This will vary by experience.
