Line 28 Operator - C Shift

Responsibilities

• Training of line personnel on line specific tasks.
• Managing the breaks of line personnel (including notifying operators about moving between plants or leaving the area).
• Housekeeping, including maintaining cleanliness of the line and surrounding areas.
• Quality of the product on the line.
• Responding to lab data.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO procedures.
• Enforcing the use and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ensuring safety for line personnel, customers, and vendors.
• Running a cast line as required (Level 1), running more than one cast line as required (Level 2), and running more than one high output line as required (Level 3).
• Completing operator certification program and completing ISO training.

Qualifications

• Adequate attendance record.
• Adequate safety record.
• Familiarity with best practice safety procedures.
• Completion of operator certification program and ISO training.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• A fork truck operations license.
