About the role
Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans based on district and state standards.
- Assess student learning through various methods and provide feedback to improve academic performance.
- Instruct students in assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance educational programs and resources.
- Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
- Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
