About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach subjects aligned with district and state requirements.
• Develop and implement lesson plans based on effective practices and principles.
• Conduct classroom instruction using appropriate techniques and methodologies.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to improve student learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
• Eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• Knowledge of effective practices including lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
• Be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• Meet the Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement requirement if teaching retained grade 3 students.
• Upload proof of meeting the Early Literacy Endorsement requirement as an attachment to your application.
