About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Incorporate effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques in classroom instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance educational outcomes.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
• Eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential if not yet licensed.
• Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.

Qualifications

• Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement required for teachers working with retained grade 3 students.
