About the role

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Georgia is seeking applications for a non-tenure track, Limited-Term Lecturer position to begin August 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Teach in the department’s Organic Chemistry Course sequence
  • Participate in service to the Department, School, and University
  • Maintain active participation in departmental activities
  • Maintain a collegial work environment
  • Engage in professional development

Requirements

  • An earned doctorate degree in Chemistry is required.

Skills

  • Background teaching in both large and small classes utilizing active learning pedagogy
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to utilize technology in teaching
