About the role

The MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for term lecturer faculty positions across a variety of programs, including: Audiology, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Genetic Counseling, Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, Health Professions Education, Healthcare Administration & Data Analytics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in alignment with their area of expertise and program needs.
  • Develop and manage online course content using Desire to Learn (D2L) where applicable.
  • Publish and maintain the course syllabus.
  • Oversee course management and content delivery.
  • Conduct assessments and assign grades for student performance.
  • Provide student mentoring and academic support, including designated office hours.

Qualifications

  • An advanced or terminal degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous clinical experience in applicable programs.
  • An active professional license for programs requiring licensure.
  • A commitment to graduate student success and a demonstrated dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within the academic environment.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, administration, staff, patients, and external partners.

Pay

The salary of the finalist selected will vary based on the term lecturer role an individual is hired for and the number of credit hours or lab hours they will be working during the semester.
