About the Role

A Limited Practice Technologist (LPT) is an entry-level imaging professional working under Utah licensure, supporting radiologic exams and patient care while gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiologic procedures within scope
  • Ensure proper patient identification
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging
  • Produce quality images following safety standards
  • Educate patients about procedures
  • Document procedures accurately
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team
  • Maintain a safe environment

Requirements

  • Current Utah LPT or Limited Scope Operator license
  • Enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program aiming for ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • Competency in approved exam areas
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
