About the Role
A Limited Practice Technologist (LPT) is an entry-level imaging professional working under Utah licensure, supporting radiologic exams and patient care while gaining hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures within scope
- Ensure proper patient identification
- Prepare and position patients for imaging
- Produce quality images following safety standards
- Educate patients about procedures
- Document procedures accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
- Maintain a safe environment
Requirements
- Current Utah LPT or Limited Scope Operator license
- Enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program aiming for ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Competency in approved exam areas
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
