Lighting Retrofit Technician

About the role

You will install lighting products safely and neatly in customer facilities, demonstrating professional customer service and expertise in lighting retrofit strategies.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies.
• Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.
• Work in a safe manner to avoid damaging or disturbing customer facilities.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Perform physically demanding tasks while using basic or specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job or work order process.
• Understand and conform to government/local regulations, ordinances, and required safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• At least 1 year of lighting and electrical experience.
• Lighting and retrofit experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and reliable availability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive customer service skills.
• NRLT, CSLT, and/or CALT Certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
• Daily travel to multiple job sites.
