About the role
Pleasant View Gardens Inc. is seeking 8 Light Truck Drivers for a seasonal position in Loudon, NH. The positions are part of a larger effort to transport farm-grown products and passengers.
Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles safely and maintain organized and accurate records.
- Inform supervisors and staff about issues that arise.
- Prepare and load vehicles before runs as needed.
- Transport and deliver farm-grown products according to load parameters.
- Track deliveries to customers and unload trucks upon return.
- Map out and organize daily delivery routes and adhere to schedules.
- Safely operate necessary equipment such as cages, load bars, straps, pallet jacks, maps, and GPS units.
- Complete and update DOT Logs, records, and run sheets.
- Document shortages and discrepancies and report them promptly.
- Test vehicle equipment and take vehicles to mechanics for service.
- Clean and maintain vehicles, including vacuuming interiors and washing exteriors.
- Additional 2nd shift hours may be offered.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of recent driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license from a US state.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to obtain a DOT examiner’s medical card before starting work.
- Insurability by the employer’s insurance company.
- Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and understanding traffic signs and DOT logs.
- 12 months of experience in listed duties.
- Completion of a training month.
- Certification or license requirements.
- Driver certification.
- Ability to obtain a DOT examiner’s medical card before starting work.
- Drug screen.
- Lifting capacity of up to 150 lbs.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Extensive pushing or pulling.
- Extensive sitting or walking.
- Frequent stooping or bending over.
- Repetitive movements.

Pay
Salary: $22.16 + benefits
