About the Organization
Blood Cancer United is dedicated to curing blood cancer and improving the quality of life for all patients and their families. We fund life-saving blood cancer research worldwide, provide free information and support services, and advocate for access to quality, affordable, coordinated care. With over $2 billion invested in groundbreaking research, we help those with blood cancer not only survive but thrive.
At Light The Night, we gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer. Funds raised support lifesaving research, advocacy, and patient support.
About the Role
Volunteers are needed to help bring the Light The Night walk to life. Shifts and roles are as follows:
- 8 morning set-up volunteers (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- 8 afternoon set-up volunteers (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
- 10 general event help volunteers to assist with a variety of areas (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
If you wish to attend the walk as a participant, you may register separately.

Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Location: Mercer County Park, 1638 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor Township, NJ 08550
Parking: On-site parking available. Use Mercer County Park Festival Grounds as the access point.
Festivities:
- 3:45 PM – 7:00 PM: Opening Ceremony/Walk
- 5:10 PM: Additional event activities
Walk Distance: 1 mile
