About the Organization
Blood Cancer United is on a mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families. We fund life-saving blood cancer research worldwide, provide free information and support services for patients and their families, and advocate for access to quality, affordable, coordinated care. With community support, we have invested over $2 billion in groundbreaking research, helping those with blood cancer not only survive but thrive.
About the Event
Light The Night is a community gathering to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer. Friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors come together to bring light to the darkness of cancer. Funds raised support lifesaving research, advocacy, and patient support services.
Volunteer Roles
- 10 morning set-up volunteers (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
- 20 general event help volunteers (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM) – assist with various areas
- 10 start/finish line and clean-up volunteers (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
