Light The Night Buffalo

About the Event

Light The Night is a community gathering to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer. Friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors join together to bring light to the darkness of cancer. The funds raised fund lifesaving research, advocacy and support for blood cancer patients and their families.

Volunteer Roles

• Coverage throughout the walk experience in tented areas throughout the walk site (8 volunteers needed across 4 tented areas, 2 people each)
• Clean up support at the conclusion of the walk (10 volunteers needed)

Schedule

• Event festivities: 5:30–8:30pm
• Opening Ceremony/Walk: 7:30pm
• Walk length: 2 miles
• Volunteer shift for tented areas: 4:30–9:00pm
• Volunteer shift for clean up: 8:30–9:30pm

Delaware Park – closest to Nichols School and behind the Buffalo Zoo, Corner of Colvin Ave. and Amherst Ave, Buffalo, NY 14214

Parking

Please use street parking. Nichols School has an event the night of Light The Night and we are NOT able to use their lot this year.
