About the role
We are Blood Cancer United, and we believe everyone with blood cancer deserves a longer, better life. That's why we are on a mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families. How? We fund life-saving blood cancer research around the world, provide free information and support services for patients and their families, and are the voice for those seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care. With your help, we have invested more than $2 billion in groundbreaking research supporting many of today's most innovative approaches to treatment—helping those with blood cancer not only survive but also thrive.
At Light The Night, we gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer. Friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors join together to bring light to the darkness of cancer. The funds raised by this community fund lifesaving research, advocacy and support for blood cancer patients and their families.
Volunteer shifts and positions
- 8 morning set up volunteers from 9:00am–12:00pm
- 8 afternoon set up volunteers from 12:00pm–4:00pm
- 10 general event help volunteers to assist with a variety of areas from 4:00pm–8:00pm
