Light The Night Birmingham

About the Event

Light The Night is a community gathering to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer. Friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors join together to bring light to the darkness of cancer. Funds raised support lifesaving research, advocacy, and support for blood cancer patients and their families.

Volunteer Roles

• 30 set-up volunteers (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
• 5 VIP reception volunteers (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)
• 50 event volunteers (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
• 20 clean-up volunteers (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

If you wish to attend the walk as a participant, you are welcome to register and take part.

Location: Railroad Park, 1600 1st Ave S., Birmingham, AL 35233

Parking: No designated parking; street parking is available.

Schedule

• 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM: Event festivities
• 7:00 PM: Opening Ceremony/Walk (1 mile)
