Light Industrial Estimator

Client Details

A respected Chicagoland general contractor specializing in light industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and logistics projects. The company has experienced significant growth and maintains a strong backlog of repeat clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates for industrial projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in client meetings and project handoffs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience with a GC.
• Experience estimating warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
