Light Duty Technician

About the role

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Light Duty Auto or Med/Heavy Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join their team. The primary responsibility is to repair and maintain light, medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
• Understand and apply knowledge of electrical systems
• Train and assist other mechanics
• Test drive various vehicles
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Occasionally perform fueling duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• CDL license preferred
• Experience with all major vehicle components and systems
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass drug test and background check

Pay

$24-$32/hr, depending on experience

Schedule

Shift: 7am-330pm, Wednesday-Sunday (every 5 weeks, rotating after hours on call)
