About the role
The Lift Operator 1 moves product through the warehouse and warehouse racking while meeting company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The role involves efficiently picking guest orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and damage-free handling of inbound and outbound shipments.
Responsibilities
- Operate power industrial equipment such as Forklift, Order Picker, and Reach Truck using proper lifting techniques.
- Pull product from the warehouse for shipment to stores and distribution centers.
- Move product from Inbound Bins into racks based on product type and dimension.
- Relocate product from end caps and service areas into racks.
- Efficiently pick customer orders using RF-designated pick areas.
- Ensure inbound product and transfers are stored in designated rack areas.
- Scan merchandise before moving it to a different location.
- Stage product based on product and storage type.
- Utilize wire guidance and high pile storage.
- Transport orders to the dock using material handling equipment.
- Operate radio frequency equipment.
- Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards and promote safety.
- Ensure completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain a clean work area and debris-free warehouse floor.
- Meet company standards for productivity.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Pay
Hourly wage: $17.50 - $22.75. Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt team members.
