Lift Operations Supervisor
Overview
The Lift Operations & Admin Supervisor supports the Lift Operations Manager in leading the lift operations team across all lifts. They oversee daily operations on the hill, provide guidance and coaching to lift leads and operators, and help ensure that safety, efficiency, and guest service standards are met. In addition to on-hill leadership, the Supervisor assists with scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks. This position works primarily night shifts, with some day shifts, and plays an active role in both operational and behind-the-scenes aspects of the department.
This is a winter full-time seasonal position.

Responsibilities
As the Lift Operations Supervisor, you will contribute to Brighton’s LEADS values by:

- Supporting lift leads and operators in maintaining a safe work environment for staff and guests

Qualifications
This position may be for you if you:
- Are 18 years of age or older.
- Hold a relevant college degree or have 3+ years of leadership experience in a related field.
- Are very comfortable navigating computers and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; able to learn and implement new systems and software.
- Understand the basics of leadership, supervision, and training.
- Communicate clearly with staff, peers, and leaders.
- Can work a flexible schedule that includes night & day shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Can lift 35 lbs and push or pull 50 lbs unassisted.
- Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather for long periods, including work at heights.
- Can ski or snowboard safely at an intermediate or above level.
- Stay attentive, follow procedures, and address hazards immediately.
- Have a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
- Can reliably get to and from the resort in variable conditions.
Preferred
- Previous lift operations experience.
- Knowledge of ANSI B77-1.
- Experience coaching teams and holding staff accountable.
- Carpentry or forestry knowledge.
