About the role

As a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator you’ll help us make a difference to our residents, ensuring they get the mental and physical stimulation that they need to remain healthy, fulfilled, and happy. • Connect with residents, their families, friends, and colleagues to gain a deep understanding of each resident's interests, abilities, and challenges, fostering active participation.
  • Support the Head of Activities in orchestrating special events like garden parties, concerts, and excursions, always mindful of the budget and meticulous in financial tracking.
  • Aid residents in personal tasks such as letter writing, shopping, and reading, and encourage them to engage in their individual hobbies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience organizing events, especially if you have experience working with the elderly and/or vulnerable.
  • Positive attitude and energetic, humorous nature to inspire residents.
  • Empathy and friendliness to forge enduring professional relationships with colleagues, residents, their families, and the local community.

Benefits

  • My Healthcare: Quick, easy access to support, advice, and treatment for a variety of health-related issues, including remote GP, physiotherapy, and mental health support – all available 24/7.
