LifeLine Paramedic Critical Care Transport

Responsibilities

• Relay and receive information regarding the patient and patient condition.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements, departmental policy and practice, safety policies and practice, hospital policies.
• Care for and manage neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and elderly patients.
• Drive ambulance to and from referral hospital.
• Transport patients.
• Obtain consents and authorizations from patient or legal guardians.
• Record time of ambulance run.
• Process billing and daily reports.
• Treat patients aboard an aircraft.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Indiana Paramedic license.
• Certified Flight Paramedic advanced certification within 18 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or its equivalency(s) within initial probationary period.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or its equivalency(s) within initial probationary period.
• Trauma Certification within 6 months of hire, including ITLS or PHTLS.
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) or its equivalency within initial probationary period.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 within initial probationary period.
• Valid Driver's License in the State of Indiana with no more than 6 accrued points.
• 3 years ALS Paramedic experience.
