What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensures the health, safety and well-being of participants by providing close supervision of assigned activities
• Works with a wide range of age groups to support daily recreational activities including but not limited to arts, crafts, fabrication lab, aquatics, sports and fitness
• Serves as a positive role model to the participants, motivating and educating individuals to meet their goals
• Responds to emergency situations, following established emergency protocols
• Supporting the implementation of sports, games, special events, field trips, and group activities
• Assists in all tribal holiday parties from set up to tear down
• Helping to distribute posters and other materials to promote upcoming programs and special events
• Adhering to and enforcing FCPC policies, procedures, and recreation guidelines
• Aiding in the upkeep and organization of FCPC facilities and equipment

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Red Cross, Lifeguard certification, Physical swimming skills test CPR and First Aid certified preferred, or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Aquatic Safety
