Lifeguard-Pool Attendant Seasonal Full Time

About the role

This seasonal position (until October 2nd) is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all guests by monitoring water slides, water features, pool, and deck activity. You will enforce park rules and regulations, arrange and execute activities, entertainment, and events, and ensure excellent customer service. Certification (Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid) will be provided by Holiday Inn Club Vacations.

Responsibilities

• Prevent injuries and eliminate hazards by monitoring guest activity and enforcing safety rules.
• Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations; perform CPR/First Aid as needed.
• Operate all applicable equipment safely according to established policies and procedures.
• Clean and maintain decks and pools to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform opening and closing duties, safety checks, and first aid care as needed.
• Arrange, organize, and execute activities, entertainment, and events throughout the resort.
• Provide activity updates to resort employees, guests, owners, and third-party vendors.
• Communicate effectively with the Assistant Guest Engagement Manager and co-workers.
• Assist with communication across all resort channels.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications (training provided).
• Ability to write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Competency in water demonstrated by a pre-hiring swim test (safe entry, swimming at least 10 yards).
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with guests and staff.
