Lifeguard.

Position Purpose

This position serves as the initial contact for all visitors and users entering either of the two pools located in Alumni Gym and will monitor all swimmers in either of the two pools.

Location

Hanover, NH – Lewinstein Athletic Center Pool (Alumni Gym)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors user and visitor identification
• Enforces all pool rules and policies
• Ensures a safe aquatic environment around the pools
• Practices appropriate life safety techniques when necessary
• Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others, fostering a welcoming environment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of lifeguard experience

Pay

Hourly rate: $16.25 – $19.00

Schedule

Temporary part‑time position. Regular hours are 10 am–2 pm Monday‑Friday, with seasonal weekend and evening hours as needed.
