About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing life support systems in various facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair life support systems including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly.
- Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions using technical knowledge and tools.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and facility management to address complex issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in maintenance or repair.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and refrigeration systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
