Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete a full academic day in roughly two hours using adaptive technology. No traditional lectures. No printed textbooks. Your responsibility is what software cannot replicate: guiding Pre-K through 8th grade students in life competencies such as public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange. You'll spend half your time facilitating hands-on sessions using prepared playbooks and narrative techniques. The remaining half involves meeting with students individually or in small clusters, analyzing their adaptive learning performance via Coachbot analytics, and ensuring they reach 100% of weekly objectives. Students demonstrate competency through Test2Pass evaluations, not attendance-based grades.

This is demanding, purposeful work. Your first year centers on mastering the system: workshop delivery, motivational coaching, mastery verification, and proving you can guide every student to full goal completion. Succeed in this, and advancement to Lead Guide becomes accessible. You must bring warmth, commanding presence, and uncompromising standards.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating hour-long life competency workshops covering public speaking, concentration, teamwork, and feedback skills, adjusting your delivery and tone for Pre-K–8 developmental stages.
• Conducting daily individual and small-group coaching sessions where you examine student progress in adaptive platforms (via Coachbot analytics), establish targets, and ensure they reach 100% of weekly milestones.
• Overseeing and evaluating Test2Pass assessments to verify genuine mastery of each life skill, not mere attendance.
• Intervening strategically when a student lags academically or shows disengagement — diagnosing underlying issues and designing a corrective plan.
• Cultivating authentic connections with every student so they trust you enough to respond to coaching during moments of resistance, distraction, or doubt.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Delivering lectures or conventional academic lessons (core subjects are learned through adaptive platforms, not instructor-led teaching).
• Creating lesson plans or designing curriculum independently (Alpha supplies structured life skills playbooks; your role is to execute them with presence and narrative skill).
• Handling parent communications or administrative duties (Campus Leads manage those areas; your attention remains on students).
• Evaluating homework or preparing students for standardized exams (these elements don't exist in our model).
• Operating independently (you collaborate with a campus team including Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues who provide feedback and mutual accountability).

Requirements

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 3+ years working directly with Pre-K–8 students (in teaching, coaching, counseling, or youth program coordination).
• Demonstrated experience motivating or coaching Pre-K–8 students toward academic, behavioral, athletic, or extracurricular objectives, with at least one concrete example you can articulate (including the objective, your actions, and the result).
• Willingness to embrace a coaching-focused model where all academic instruction occurs through the learning platform. Your function is motivation and guidance, not subject-matter teaching.
• Regular use of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
• Available to work on-site at Alpha's Springfield, MA campus (relocation assistance available).
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Background in youth sports coaching, camp coordination, or after-school program leadership where you held direct accountability for motivating children to achieve defined goals.
• History of exceptional personal accomplishment (academic distinctions, competitive sports, or leadership positions demanding sustained high performance).
• Innate storytelling talent: you can captivate a room of Pre-K–8 students for an hour without elevating your voice.
• Success engaging disengaged or reluctant students and converting them into motivated participants.
• Experience supporting students who receive special education services.

$100,000 annual salary paid weekly ($50 USD/hour for 40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year).
