About the role

We are seeking a Life Success Specialist to serve youth (ages 5–17) and their families in Glendale, Surprise, Peoria, and Laveen. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping families build practical skills for a thriving future.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with youth and caregivers to create lasting change through:
  • - Life Skills Training: Teaching social skills and daily independence using the Ansell Casey Assessment.
  • - Community Impact: Planning and facilitating therapeutic activities, sports, and recreational outings.
  • - Reunification Support: Collaborating with DCS to support family reunification efforts.
  • - Goal Tracking: Developing and maintaining individualized treatment plans and documenting progress.
  • - Flexible Hours: Monday – Saturday, with varied schedules based on client needs.
  • - Year-Round Engagement: Providing services during summer and school breaks.
  • - Community-Based Role: Traveling throughout the valley to reach clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ year in youth-focused behavioral health.
  • Education: High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s in a related field preferred.
  • Mobility: Must be 21+ with a valid Driver’s License and an insured personal vehicle meeting $100K/$300K coverage requirements to transport youth.
  • Clearances: Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, and a negative TB test.
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay

  • Initial Salary (First 60 Days): $38,000 – $42,000.
  • Incentivized Growth: After probation, transitioning to a Base Salary + Pay-Per-Unit model.
  • | Units per Month | Additional Pay per Unit | |---|---| | 0–50 | Base Pay Only | | 51–100 | + $7.50/unit | | 101–125 | + $7.75/unit | | 126–150 | + $8.00/unit | | 151+ | + $8.50/unit | | 100 units = approx. 25 hours/week of face-to-face client time. Units may also be earned through care coordination and other approved tasks.

Schedule

  • Monday – Saturday, with varied schedules based on client needs.
  • Year-Round Engagement: Services continue during summer and school breaks.
  • Community-Based Role: Traveling throughout the valley to reach clients.
