About the role
Salesforce Professional Services is seeking a Technical Architect Director focused on Agentforce for Life Sciences (AFLS). This role serves as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert to large, complex life sciences enterprises. Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to C-Suite stakeholders, guiding program strategy, and mentoring architects.
Responsibilities
- Engage with C-Suite stakeholders at the executive level
- Shape internal strategic initiatives to grow the Life Sciences consulting practice
- Guide customers and colleagues in adopting emerging technologies like Agentforce and AI-first capabilities
- Mentor and coach Senior Technical Architects and Solution Architects
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Solution Architects to architect technology solutions
- Manage executive customer expectations and resolve complex problems
- Review and correct project/program direction to ensure solutions are extendable and maintainable
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience
- 5+ years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects
- 3+ years of experience in Life Sciences, particularly Pharma/Biopharma
- Strong application design, data, integration, and security architecture skills
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Ability to analyze and design business processes via technology
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Agentforce for Life Sciences or equivalent Life Sciences CRM platforms
- Experience in Medtech industry, including drug development and lifecycle management
- Experience in clinical operations, including clinical trial management and patient engagement platforms
- Experience in pharmaceutical commercial operations, field force engagement, HCP/HCO relationship management, or regulatory compliance
Pay
$197,300 - $313,700 annually
