Life Science Sales Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Promote HORIBA products, services, and technologies through existing accounts and secure business from new ones to enhance customer research and manufacturing capabilities, particularly in the biopharma and pharmaceutical markets.
- Deliver effective value propositions, conduct product demonstrations with the support of the application team, and nurture customers within the field of life science for the purpose of pipeline and business expansion.
- Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships to support the growth and expansion of key applications within the territory.
About the Role
The Life Science Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in advancing HORIBA's portfolio of tools and instrumentation within the US territory. This individual works closely with the cross-divisional Business Development team and is responsible for driving technology adoption and revenue growth.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar sales or technical role is required, with a strong background in biopharma and pharma. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to travel are also required.
