About the role

Golden Years ADHC is seeking compassionate Life Enrichment Specialists to deliver hands-on care and engagement for adult day healthcare participants in communities across Kentucky. Team members foster a welcoming, safe environment where every individual is valued and supported. This role includes responsibilities for personal care, activity facilitation, and holistic support.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities, including transfer support and mobility.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for participants, adhering to dietary guidelines.
• Offer medication reminders according to established care plans and Kentucky regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Facilitate engaging life enrichment activities and social programs to encourage participation and wellbeing.
• Deliver respite care and support on a flexible, as-needed basis, including evenings and weekends for 24/7 coverage.
• Document services provided and communicate effectively with participants, families, and care team members.
• Uphold dignity, respect, kindness, and foster a culture of caring in line with the Golden Rule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certifications (CNA, CPR, First Aid) preferred.
• Relevant experience in caregiving, senior services, activity enrichment, or home care.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB test (costs covered by applicant, reimbursed after onboarding).
• Strong commitment to service, reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Pay

$18–$20.00 per hour, based on client need.

Schedule

Sunday 8am-1pm (5 hours).
