Life Enrichment Lead Assistant
About the role
This position is also often referred to as an Activities Assistant or Activity Aide. Shift Information includes every weekend, which will include bus outings. Comfortable working independently or as a team is required. We offer a great full-time benefits and perks package!
Responsibilities
- Help the Life Enrichment Director in planning and implementing resident activities.
- Plan and organize recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs.
- Examples of activities include exercise classes, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, group outings, trivia and bingo, brain games, church services, and more.
Requirements
- Experience in a senior living activities/life enrichment department is helpful, but not required.
- Essential qualities include patience, compassion, and care.
- A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.
- Memory Care experience is a plus.
