About the Role

Beztak Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. This role assists the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, organizing, and coordinating activities throughout the community, as well as driving residents to outings or appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Promote resident socialization, growth, and development by planning and executing resident activities.
  • Drive residents in community vehicles to social events, appointments, and special events.
  • Enhance residents’ quality of life by addressing their social, physical, and mental health needs.
  • Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with:
    • Transportation requests, including educational outings.
    • Formatting and distributing digital and print calendars.
    • Facilitation of activities aligned with residents' talents and interests.
    • Digital and print communications and announcements.
    • Room and event set-up and reset.
    • Resident profile, life story, and directory record-keeping.
  • Book and lead resident-centered activities across Independent, Assisted, and Memory Care service levels in coordination with the Assisted Living Director and Director of Memory Care.
  • Operate a company or personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
  • Work in a high-pressure environment, handling conflicts, urgent matters, and interactions with difficult customers or vendors.

Requirements

  • Clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.

Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed. Pre-employment testing, including criminal background checks, fingerprinting (where applicable), and drug testing, is required. Additional state-specific requirements apply:

  • Florida: Level 2 ACHA requirements.
  • Arizona: Fingerprint clearance card, TB test, and clearance of the Adult Protective Services registry.
  • Michigan: TB test and fingerprinting.

Physical Demands

The position requires regular sitting, walking, standing, and communication with residents, staff, family members, and the public. Occasional tasks include rearranging furniture, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

This role primarily operates indoors in an air-conditioned office with natural, incandescent, and fluorescent lighting. Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) is common during outdoor tasks. Periodic confinement to a vehicle is required.
