As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you’ll assist in planning and implementing diverse programs to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing.

Employment Status: Part Time (must be available to work weekends).

Responsibilities

  • Review resident activity needs and plan recreation programs based on individual needs and interests.
  • Coordinate and provide activities aligned with the 8 dimensions of Wellness.
  • Be aware of residents’ medical records, including diets, allergies, and alcohol limitations.
  • Assist in purchasing and inventorying supplies and equipment; inspect recreation equipment for repair, maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Direct, train, and supervise volunteer activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of residents’ progress and attendance.
  • Coordinate activity services with other departments.
  • Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing the monthly calendar.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all program locations.
  • Comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations, requirements, and guidelines.
  • Develop and facilitate the monthly calendar according to applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate events with Dining Services and other Coordinators as needed.
  • Facilitate daily displays of activities on the resident engagement portal.
  • Process and submit monthly expenses and data.
  • Responsible for invoicing entertainers and pastor services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Six (6) months of experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.
  • Enthusiastic, compassionate, and passionate about hospitality and senior engagement.

Pay

Hourly Wage: $22.62–$28.21.
