Life Enrichment Assistant (FT/PT)

About the role

We are currently seeking applicants for Life Enrichment Assistant positions. This position is also often referred to as an Activities Assistant or Activity Aide. One weekend day and one evening shift required weekly.

Responsibilities

• Help the Life Enrichment Director in planning and implementing resident activities.
• Activities include: exercise classes, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, group outings, trivia and bingo, brain games, church services, and more.

Requirements

• Experience in a senior living activities / life enrichment department is helpful, but not required.
• Memory Care Experience is preferred.
• Patient, compassionate, and caring personality.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors.

Qualifications

• No specific educational requirements.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations.
