Life Enrichment Assistant
About The Role
Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about brightening someone’s day? Mantey Heights Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help plan and deliver fun, meaningful activities for our residents in a warm and supportive skilled nursing environment. You’ll play a key role in helping our residents stay engaged, active, and socially connected — because at Mantey Heights, we believe that life should be celebrated every day!
What You’ll Do
- Aid in planning, organizing, and executing daily activities such as games, arts & crafts, exercise programs, outings, and special events.
- Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet a variety of interests and abilities.
- Document attendance, resident preferences, and engagement levels.
- Provide companionship and positive interactions that enhance residents' emotional well-being.
- Support the Life Enrichment Director in creating an uplifting and fun environment.
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, energetic personality with a heart for seniors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependability and a teamwork mindset.
- The ability to plan and participate in physical and recreational activities.
- Previous experience in recreation, activities, or senior care is a plus (but not required).
