Life Enrichment Assistant

Job Description

Life Enrichment Assistants are responsible for helping to facilitate the planned activities in our memory care and assisted living neighborhoods. This involves everything from leading exercise classes and sing-alongs to brain power activities, sports and art classes, and reading aloud.

Responsibilities

• Aid in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this community.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement so that facility activities and resident progress are evaluated.
• Involves the resident/family in planning activity programs when possible.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chairs on a regular basis.
• Must have Food Handlers Permit.
