Life Enrichment Assistant

About the role

Are you a creative, high-energy person who loves bringing joy to seniors? NHC Lexington is looking for a Life Enrichment Assistant to help plan and lead activities that keep our residents active, engaged, and smiling.

Responsibilities

• Help lead fun, therapeutic activities that meet our residents' physical, social, and emotional needs.
• Spend quality, one-on-one time with individual patients who need extra engagement.
• Assist the Director with community events, fundraising, and the center newsletter.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and your coworkers while following the 20 Better Way Promises.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A genuine love for working with the elderly.
• Self-motivation, patience, and a professional presentation.
• Flexibility to work changing hours, including some evenings and weekends for special events.
• Ability to stand/walk for 2–5 hours a day and lift up to 60–70 lbs occasionally.
