Life Enrichment Assistant / Activities (Part-Time)

About the Role

At our community, our Life Enrichment Assistants play a key role in enriching our residents to live an active, vibrant life. This role involves planning and implementing spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming to engage and fulfill residents.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the residents to help plan and implement activities that promote engagement and fulfillment.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Participate in and help organize events such as games, painting, singing, and music.
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities.
• Occasionally drive the company vehicle (if 21 or over) to transport residents to and from events.
• Set up and break down events and activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Physical fitness to assist with activities and mobility support.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities (preferred).
• Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role (preferred).
• Knowledge of senior care or recreational activities (preferred).
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
• Active Driver's license in good standing.

Schedule

Part-time: Week 1 & 2 - (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Friday/Saturday.

Pay

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
