Life Enrichment Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

Eden Vista Apple Valley is seeking a compassionate and energetic Life Enrichment Assistant to help enrich the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities.

Schedule

16 hours per week (2 days per week, 8-hour shifts). The schedule is flexible, but we prefer consistent, non-consecutive shifts such as:

• Monday & Wednesday
• Tuesday & Thursday
• Wednesday & Friday

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing engaging activities that meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual needs of residents.
• Create opportunities that promote joy, independence, wellness, and meaningful engagement.
• Encourage resident participation through creative and motivating programming.
• Lead and assist with group activities, games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events.
• Provide one-on-one engagement for residents who benefit from individualized activities.
• Help maintain activity calendars, supplies, and activity areas.
• Document resident participation and responses as required.
• Ensure activity spaces remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to provide exceptional resident experiences.

Requirements

• Experience working with seniors.
• Experience preparing and leading activities in a group setting.
• Experience supporting residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory care needs.
