Life Enrichment and Driver for Senior Living

About the Role

Maple Heights Senior Living Community is seeking a Bus Driver to assist with transportation for our seniors to appointments, outings, family visits, or other needed destinations. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed. The Bus Driver will primarily handle transportation duties and assist with Life Enrichment activities during downtime.

Responsibilities

• Documentation and maintenance of the bus.
• Drive residents to needed destinations.
• Assist residents by using correct safety procedures to operate, lift, and secure wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
• Observe and maintain the safety of residents while transporting them to appointments.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and Chauffeur’s license.
• Must have an excellent driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Good sense of direction and flexibility.
• Caring and compassionate demeanor.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed.
