Life Enrichment and Driver for Senior Living

About the Role

Maple Heights Senior Living Community is seeking a Bus Driver to assist with transportation for our seniors to appointments, outings, family visits, or wherever needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, caring, able to lift approximately 50 lbs., and has a good sense of direction. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday with some weekends as needed. The Bus Driver will primarily transport residents and assist with Life Enrichment activities during downtime.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain the bus.
• Drive residents to needed destinations.
• Assist residents by using correct safety procedures to operate, lift, and secure wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
• Observe and maintain the safety of residents while transporting them to appointments.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver’s License (Chauffeur’s license required).
• Must have an excellent driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Positive attitude and ability to arrive on time for every shift.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday with some weekends as needed.
