Licensing Specialist
We are seeking a Licensing Specialist to ensure compliance and audit management, oversee process management, and foster client relationship management across various business units.
Responsibilities
- Apply policies and procedures and SOX-related compliance policies.
- Support internal and external audits and adhere to jurisdiction regulations for license applications and renewals.
- Research state, county, and local licensing jurisdiction rules and regulations affecting company operations.
- Complete and submit pharmacy, DEA, business, and other license applications accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with various business units and corporate departments to understand specific requirements.
- Interface with licensing jurisdictions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Participate in meetings and follow up on inquiries.
- Maintain License Automation System and other checklists.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years of office experience.
- Experience interpreting and processing business-related forms.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Skills
- Highly organized with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Skills in data analysis are helpful.
- Background in licensing within healthcare, retail, or related fields.
Work Environment
This position is located on-site at the headquarters in Northbrook, IL, requiring attendance five days a week. The role involves working independently and collaboratively with Licensing leadership and business partners.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
