Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Compliance Knowledge Base: Drive the creation, audit, and lifecycle management of Core Research Documentation across all state/federal filing types including initial licensure, change notices (i.e., ownership, PIC, DR, officers, relocation, name), and renewals.
- Execute comprehensive 50-state and federal regulatory research to support client deliverables and internal service lines.
- Conduct surveys and engage directly with state boards and regulatory agencies to source accurate compliance requirements.
- Build & Enhance Research Infrastructure: Contribute to the functional design and ongoing refinement of research tooling.
- Project Planning Support: Assist licensing teams in constructing, tracking, and maintaining structured Project Work Plans.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated professional experience within the pharmacy regulatory, healthcare compliance, or life sciences space.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Communications, Legal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal or JD preferred.
- Pharmacy Regulation Mastery: Strong foundational familiarity with state boards of pharmacy, federal compliance standards, and the operational workflows of the pharmaceutical supply chain.
- Professional Writing & Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication skills are a hard requirement. Proven capability to distill dense, technical, or legal regulatory language into crisp, actionable corporate messaging.
- Analytical & Broad-Thinking Capacity: Ability to look beyond basic compliance checklists to understand the broader business and strategic implications of regulatory shifts.
- Self-Directed & Remote-Capable: Highly disciplined and organized, with a proven track record of managing workloads autonomously in a 100% remote work environment.
