LICENSING PROGRAM MANAGER I
About the role
The California Department of Social Services seeks a Licensing Program Manager I (LPM I) to monitor and supervise activities of a unit of Licensing Program Analysts. Key responsibilities include conducting quality assurance reviews, planning and conducting training, reviewing complaint investigations, providing technical and supervisory direction, and supporting the office in maintaining policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality, quantity, and timely submissions for work and staff's work.
- Work with reluctant staff to gain cooperation and complete tasks.
- Support the office in maintaining CCLD Policies and Procedures.
- May act as the Division representative with other agencies.
- Recruit and hire new staff.
- Meet with facility representatives.
- Recommend administrative actions against non-compliance licensees.
- Support the office in maintaining CCLD Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
Must be able to travel. Bilingual Spanish candidates preferred but not required. Subject to personnel approval and SROA/Surplus policies.
Qualifications
Must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
