About the role
SESAC is looking for a Licensing Coordinator to join our team in Nashville. In this position, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of license agreements and incoming correspondence from licensees.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate processing of incoming license agreements, including high value negotiated and group agreements, by entering applicable terms and rates in corresponding databases.
- Assist licensees by providing executed copies of licenses, invoices, answering account related questions, etc.
- Process license terminations, out of business notifications, sale of business notifications, fee factor assignments, and other correspondence as assigned.
- Process account billing and cash adjustments to support accurate and timely billing and collection efforts.
- Serve as a contact for Licensing Representatives and Consultants regarding incoming licenses by informing team members when signed licenses are received and if errors exist that prevent processing.
- Perform periodic review of suspended accounts to assess accuracy and determine if any accounts need to be re-activated.
- Process returned mail to research accuracy of business address or if a business no longer exists and update the database accordingly.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with licensees and staff.
- Ability to organize and prioritize large volumes of work.
- Ability to work individually or collaboratively as a team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft products, including Excel.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Oracle databases is helpful but not required.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of copyright law is helpful but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Schedule
This is currently a hybrid role that will require you to commute to our Nashville office a minimum of three days a week.
