About the role
The Level of Care Registry at the Developmental Center seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct care, treatment, and developmental services under the direction of supervisory staff.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing interaction with individuals, personnel, and the general public.
- Potential exposure to communicable diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and other conditions common to a clinical nursing environment.
- Maintain sufficient strength, agility, endurance, and sensory ability to perform duties.
- Lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Participate in individual containment, intervention, or restraint.
- Work extended hours and various shifts.
- Floated to all work areas within the facility as needed.
Requirements
- Pass the Licensed Vocational Nurse, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation examination.
- Eligible for telework.
Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid California LVN license.

Schedule
12 Month Limited Term, Intermittent - 1500 Hours
