Licensed Vocational Nurse - Primary Care

About the Role

Provides patient care under supervision, assisting physicians and registered nurses in a clinical setting. Performs basic duties such as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens (including phlebotomy), and assisting with examinations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient flow and manages communication, including answering calls and scheduling tests and appointments.
• Documents patient information accurately and assists with medication refills.
• Administers medications and immunizations as ordered by providers.
• Maintains cleanliness and restocking of exam rooms and equipment, following sterile techniques and protocols.
• Performs routine clerical tasks like chart retrieval, filing, and completing forms.
• Attends meetings and training sessions, performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed LVN in the applicable state or compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
