LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE, CF - CSP, Corcoran

Duties

• Provides a basic and technical level of general nursing care to patients in a variety of correctional health care settings.
• Ensures the delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients in collaboration with the health care team.
• Addresses the ongoing needs of patients, working with physicians and other health care providers.
• Promotes the efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of health care resources.

Requirements

• Current California LVN license.
• Completion of a formal training program approved by the California Board of Nursing.
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in correctional health care setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
