Licensed Vocational Nurse, CDCR - Centinela State Prison (CEN)

Duties

• Provides a basic and technical level of general nursing care to patients in various correctional health care settings.
• Ensures the delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients under the supervision of the SRN II/III and clinical guidance of the RN, CF.
• Promotes the efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of health care resources.
• Works with physicians and other health care providers to address the ongoing needs of patients.
• Communicates effectively with patients and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

• Current California LVN license.
• Completion of a formal training program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• One year of experience in a correctional health care setting preferred.

Benefits

• Monthly part-time salary range: $4730.40 to $5345.60.
• Main communication for this position will be through email.
• This is a part-time position working 32 hours per week.
